Powell County High School is dedicated to encourage and facilitate excellence in the educational programs offered and procedures employed by the students, staff, and administration in order to promote superior achievement. All students are encouraged to explore, discover, develop, and master those skills that will make it possible for them to continue the academic growth, character development and emotional maturity necessary to live a full, rewarding, productive, and satisfying lifestyle. A continuing effort is made to determine and to offer courses, experiences, and opportunities, which serve to foster this educational endeavor.
